What is the difference between MOAA's PREMIUM and LIFE Memberships?
MOAA Membership offers a host of benefits with a unique value proposition for each tier.
Our PREMIUM Annual Membership provides a full spectrum of career and financial resources, MOAA-exclusive publications, and countless discounts on products and travel. PREMIUM Memberships are offered at 1, 2, or 3-year terms. With 2-year and 3-year membership, you’ll save 15% and 25% off our full annual rate of $62/year, respectively.
LIFE Membership offers the best value and is our most comprehensive package of benefits. It includes all PREMIUM benefits for life, and more. LIFE Membership is the best way to support MOAA’s advocacy for today's entire uniformed services community and the generations to come.
When will my gift membership begin?
Memberships are processed within 5-7 business days of purchase. Once processed, the recipient will receive a welcome email with their Member ID number and instructions to create their MOAA.org account. They will also receive a welcome kit at the home address you provide.
How will the recipient be notified that I have given them a membership?
We highly recommend letting the recipient know ahead of time. You can tell them to watch their email inbox for important information about setting up their MOAA membership online account. The recipient will be responsible for updating their mailing address when new orders are received.
Once you’ve purchased a gift membership, we will notify the new member via email. We’ll share their new Member ID and instructions about how to set up their account to begin access their membership benefits. They’ll also receive a welcome package in the mail with more information about how to take full advantage of their new MOAA membership.
How soon will the recipient be able to log in to their account?
We will send an email to the new member within 7 days of processing the gift membership, outlining how to create a MOAA.org account and begin accessing their member benefits. They will also receive a welcome kit at the home address you provide.
Can I give a gift membership to a Cadet or Midshipman before they graduate?
Yes! Cadets and Midshipmen in the 3rd or 4th years of their programs are eligible for MOAA Membership.
